Eryka Hunter: “I Am Flint!”
Introducing Flint Club’s 2nd “I Am Flint” video vignette! Eryka Hunter is from Flint, born & raised, and is the Executive Director of the Human Relations Commission here in Flint. In this video Eryka addresses the misconceptions that people from outside the area often have about our city. She says that the “people here have a lot of heart – a lot of heart! – and determination.”

Flint Club has just 9 days left to reach our goal of $1,000 for our I Am Flint project on IndieGoGo! Can you help us reach $1,000? Just $5, $10 or $20 will help us to continue I Am Flint. Did you watch the first video featuring Dick Ramsdell of the Flint Farmers’ Market? It was a wonderful way to kick-off our project. This past week Board President Cathy Lancaster was in the Market for Thanksgiving goods and said the vendors were busy & the customers were so happy. Buying local and supporting the Flint area economy is key and you can do so by stopping in to the Market!

Join us as we celebrate 10 years of programming, networking and promoting a positive image of Flint across the nation. Be there as we launch the first of the “I Am Flint” video vignettes & cut a cake in honor of 10 years of volunteers, staff & board members.
We’ll be celebrating our 10th Anniversary at Buckham Gallery, 134 1/2 W. Second Street, on Tuesday, November 15th, from 7-9pm. Tickets are just $25 a person or $45 for two.
