Every attendee will have an opportunity to have their voice heard. This workshop is a critical component of the Master Plan process and will enable residents to achieve serious dialogue and by the end of the meeting, establish a shared vision for the Master Plan including preliminary guiding principles that will create a framework for the Master Plan.
We encourage anyone interested in the master planning process to attend the Vision and Goals Workshop. Remember, Imagine Flint is your opportunity to help shape the future of your city!

Did you know that Flint Club is part of the planning committee for the Flint Area Public Affairs Forum? The Flint Area Public Affairs Forum (formerly Debates) program was begun in 1986 as a non-partisan public service devoted to helping the public gain a better understanding of important social and political issues. It is sponsored by:
- Baker College
- Flint Community Schools
- Flint Journal
- Flint Club
- Flint Public Library
- Genesee Intermediate School District
- Kettering University
- Mott Community College
- University of Michigan – Flint
Besides financial support, these eight institutions also provide representatives to the planning committee. These volunteers work together to plan and host four programs/debates each year that deal with critical public issues. These events are open to the public and are free of charge.
